About Capt. Green

Capt. Kenny Green is a United States Coast Guard and Texas, Parks and Wildlife licensed guide. Capt. Greens’s home port is Baytown, Texas, born in 1965, and married with three children. Capt. Green has been guiding the Galveston Bay Complex and Sabine Lake since 2000 while fishing these bodies of water for over 30 yrs. With his experience of fishing and guiding these bodies of water for this length of time, it assures for a safe, fun-filled, and exciting adventure on the water.

Greens Guide Service Boat

The Boat and Tackle

Green’s Guide Service offers for use a 23′ Kenner with a 225HP Suzuki outboard. The boat has a Garmin GPS, Lowrance depth sounder and a MotorGuide trolling motor. Fishing Rigs include T-Man’s custom rods with components from Batson Enterprises, Shimano Reels, Fins Windtamer braided lines and Tidal Surge Lures made by L&S Bait Company. If live bait is preferred, we can purchase at client’s expense at market value on day of trip. Rods and Reels can be provided at customer’s request.




On Day of Trip

Please bring a valid saltwater fishing license with saltwater stamp. An ice chest to bring fish home if keeping any fish. Please dress for the current day’s weather this includes sunscreen, sunglasses and NO black sole shoes. If wade fishing, please bring your own waders and the appropriate wading fishing gear.

Things We Provide:

  • Artificial baits (live bait is available for additional expense)
  • Rods and reels at customers request ( bring your own if you have a favorite rig to fish with)
  • Fish cleaned and bagged for your trip home
  • Fun, safe, personal, and professional experience

Things You Need To Provide:

  • Texas Saltwater Fishing License with a Saltwater Stamp
  • Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and dress for the weather conditions
  • Ice chest with your food and beverages
  • Ice chest for your take-home fish (Trout, Redfish, Flounder)
  • Camera to take pictures while fishing or back at the dock
  • Cool/ cold weather jackets may be required for fall and early spring
  • Neoprene chest-waders, stringer, and wading belt for fall and early spring wading
  • Boat / Deck shoes (no black soles, please)
